Six bodies of work in literacy systems, curriculum, and educational product. Each one is the result of asking what readers actually need, then designing, building, and measuring the answer.
A single, coherent literacy system designed end-to-end: curriculum, assessment, a student platform, brand, and the professional learning that surrounds it, all built on the structure and meaning of words.
Most literacy programs teach isolated skills. Students are left to connect phonics, vocabulary, morphology, and comprehension on their own, and the ones who struggle most never do.
MorphoMinds is a complete literacy ecosystem built on one idea: words are built, and that system can be taught. Every piece, from a workbook page to the diagnostic, reinforces the same structure.
A five-level morphology-based reading curriculum.
An adaptive diagnostic and progress monitoring.
Brand site for families, schools, and districts.
A digital learning home with pathways & resources.
Guides, workshops, and at-home practice.
Teacher editions, answer keys, teaching scripts.
Workshops and coaching for educators.
Naming, logo, voice, and visual system.

A five-level morphology curriculum that reads like a published product, taking students from foundational word-building all the way to advanced academic register. Student workbooks, teacher editions, answer keys, and teaching scripts.

Student workbook covers, Levels 2 through 4 of the Word Power Lab series.
Each unit teaches a morpheme, a prefix, root, or suffix, through a consistent learning arc: Discover, Investigate, Connect, Apply, Master. Repetition and structure are deliberate: they build the automaticity struggling readers never got.
Most literacy professionals never build software. I did. Students needed access beyond the tutoring session, so I designed and built a digital learning platform from wireframes to working product.
Learning stalled between sessions. Families wanted a single place for pathways, practice, and progress, and a way to see growth without guessing.

The adaptive diagnostic that opens the platform experience.
A repeatable system that turns a struggling reader into a clear plan. It moves from diagnosis to growth in visible, measurable steps, so families and teachers never have to guess whether it's working.
Problem → Assessment → Intervention → Growth
Each learner gets a written literacy profile and a one-page sheet they can share with a teacher.

Fifteen years of evidence, turned into something other educators can use. I design and deliver professional development, coach teachers through structured feedback cycles, and mentor new and pre-service teachers.

See speaking history →Before MorphoMinds, I authored curriculum at district scale. Standards-aligned units, pacing guides, and Year-at-a-Glance documents, written, rolled out through professional development, and adopted across Richland One.
I built problem-based learning units that wove in diversity, equity, and inclusion, then analyzed assessment data to refine instruction, the same diagnose-design-measure loop I use today.
